In the case of a written request, the urgent issuing of the certified document may take place on Monday and Wednesday at 15:30 PM.
The authentication fee is 5.500 Ft to be paid in cash.
No submission on Fridays!
Authenticated documents can be collected the earliest between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. the day following submission.
“All Hungarian citizens are entitled to enjoy the protection of the Republic of Hungary while legally residing or staying abroad.” Par. (3), Art. 69, The Constitution of the Republic of Hungary.
“The Republic of Hungary performs the protection of the interests of Hungarian citizens abroad by way of the consular services (consular protection).” Par. (1), Art. 1 of Act XLVI of 2001 on Consular Protection.
